Senior Operations Leader
It was at the role of Operations/Plant Manager where I had the highest degree of job satisfaction and had the greatest impact to my team, peers and organization. My energy and knowledge drove the development of the team and the team’s result drove our enthusiasm to be “Best in Class”. My personal mission statement is “Success is Doing the Right Things AND Doing Things Right”. This is my motivation to drive and develop my team to not just make changes, but to really understand the problem, the “WHY” and the direct/indirect impact to the proposed solution. I have found this hands-on systematic method creates a team that will create a “change environment” which is nimble and is constantly striving to improve… never satisfied!
My strengths include hands-on experience with all aspects of managing the P/L of a business unit, understanding the proper use of Lean/Operations Excellence tools and proven leadership that gets results while developing talent. My career then moved me to Supply Chain to face new problems. These functions directly support a site’s ability to exceed customer’s expectations in quality, delivery and budget. These additional experiences in global supply chain, purchasing and logistics give me optimal insight into “total best cost”. My teams and peers have acknowledged my high energy, genuine caring and strong coaching skills. My ability to easily and effectively communicate to all levels of the organization has greatly assisted program implementations. I am confident I would add immediate value to your team.
