Supply Chain Director – Plastic Injection Molding

Lead our purchasing team, develop and implement company-wide strategies to optimize spend, and ensure a stable efficient supply chain throughout our four nationwide plants. Seeking experienced Supply Chain Director in injection molding with plastic resin experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, you can work at any of our four national locations, occasional travel expected. Highly competitive compensation and relocation assistance.

About This Job

  • As Supply Chain Director, develop and implement company-wide strategies and ensure that key cost reduction strategies are delivered to meet savings targets, while managing risk management and performance.
  • As a player and coach, lead and develop team of procurement professionals in multiple plants.
  • Analyze sourcing/purchasing, negotiation, contract development, plastic resin market, and inventory control across spend categories.
  • Streamline department functions to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper utilization of MRP and forecasting system for multi-facility manufacturing and distribution systems.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in the supply chain field. Plastic injection molding and resin purchasing experience required.
  • Experience with a large-scale MRP system and schedule modules. IQMS and Spreadsheet Server experience preferred.
  • Experience and aptitude to manage and mentor a supply chain staff across multiple locations. APICS/ISM certification is a plus.
  • Strong business partner relationships are critical to the success of this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with purchasing team, executives, stakeholders, and production operations across the company.
