Description

Close deals and build relationships on the West Coast. Bring your sales acumen in plastics/packaging to drive results and tap into new business. You will work from company headquarters in Orange County, CA, manage existing accounts, and build new long-term partnerships within the food packaging industry. 

 About the Job: 

  • As Sales Director, you will improve the market position, penetrate and significantly grow the business where there is high untapped potential.  
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. 
  • You will actively manage direct accounts using a consultative and customer centric solutions approach.  
  • You will partner with outside sales representatives and distributors to bring packaging solutions to the end customer. 
  • As you grow the business you will actively build and manage a team of direct sales professionals. 
  • You will mentor and train both company sales representatives and outside manufacturing representatives on product solutions and new product updates.

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years demonstrated success in sales, preferably within the food packaging industry. 
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding highly preferred. 
  • 3+ years directly managing or leading a team with quantifiable results. 
  • Superior communication skills are an absolute must.
