Sales Director - Plastic Injection Molding

Uncapped commission potential. Seeking Sales Director with a technical understanding of plastic injection molding and strong sales leadership skills to manage our sales pipeline, internal and external resources, and improve sales and overall profitability across two manufacturing facilities in Ohio.

The Opportunity:

  • Reporting to the CEO, prioritize objectives based on company vision and develop tactics/plans to improve sales of all company products.
  • Manage, qualify and delegate sales leads to appropriate manufacturing location.
  • Quote pricing of large-scale injection molding programs.
  • Educate sales team by providing training on emerging products, presentation strategies, competition and internal support systems.
  • Collaborate with third party inbound and outbound marketing partners to develop target markets, qualified leads, and sales strategies.
  • Forecast and report revenue streams to CEO and management team.
  • Oversight of key accounts and managing relationships with manufacturers representatives and referral partners.

The Qualifications:

  • Plastics industry and/or injection molding experience is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of the advanced manufacturing industry including OEMs.
  • 5+ years in sales with progressive managerial responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of costing/quoting and pricing experience in injection molding strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in handling medium to large scale programs over lengthy discovery, evaluation and implementation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team with highly effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
