Procurement Specialist - Plastics

If you have experience buying post-industrial plastics from the automotive, food packaging or medical products industries, then we would like to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful compounding company who has been in business for 40 years.

 

About this Job

  • You will focus on buying Polypropylene (PP), Talc-filled PP, Calcium-filled PP, and Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) from different sources, but primarily in automotive.
  • You will have the opportunity to bid on plastic scrap with the full backing of a company who has large lines of credit with an excellent reputation in the industry.
  • You will be able to work from home, ideally in the Southeast where target manufacturers are located.

Minimum Job Qualifications  

  • You will have 3 to 5 years of experience buying post-industrial plastics from injection molding manufacturers in the South.
  • You should be able generate 3-4 loads of new product within the first 6 months, based on current contacts.
  • You will have experience procuring Polypropylene, Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) Products, and/or Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) Products.
