Plant Manager – Plastic Injection Molding

Seeking experienced Plant Manager / Molding Manager with a strong plastics processing background to direct our profitable injection molding operations. You will be responsible for the entire production floor, including molding, secondary operations, and the maintenance department. Highly competitive compensation package and relocation assistance available. 

About This Job 

  • The Plant Manager is responsible for meeting production scheduling deadlines and ensuring that all product quality requirements are met. 
  • The Plant Manager is responsible for streamlining operations by recommending ways to improve flow of product via process improvement, tooling, and maintenance.  
  • Additional responsibilities include ensuring all safety requirements are met; reviewing equipment to perform scheduling, upgrading, or repairing as needed; preparing and presenting monthly reports, working closely with all NPI projects to move them quickly into production; verifying daily production into IQMS; providing training to Supervisors and Leads, as well as ensuring all hourly employees are trained accordingly.

Minimum Job Qualifications  

  • The successful candidate will have 10+ years of manufacturing experience working in an injection molding environment.  
  • A strong and broad understanding of plastic injection molding, including processing, tooling, automation, and facility systems.  
  • Proven leadership skills to develop a positive team approach that ensures quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. 
  • The ideal candidate can take on new challenges and is willing to learn; has a good work ethic; can make adjustments and drive change; and is a role model who leads by example.
