Human Resources Director - Manufacturing

As the Human Resources (HR) Director you will lead and manage the Company’s HR activities, implement, and enforce compliance with HR policies and processes. You will also oversee pay and benefits administration, recruiting, hiring, and staffing open positions, and leading the Company’s efforts to create a performance-driven culture and a team-oriented environment. In this role it is important that you work closely with the Company’s Management Team to address and resolve HR-related issues in a timely manner, implement best practices and programs that support the Company’s desire to be one of the best places to work.

About the Job

  • Partner with Executive team to understand and execute the organization’s human resources and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures, training, performance management, and people development programs.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization retains and attracts top talent.
  • Manage employee improvement plans, disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
  • You will lead the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up-to-date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. Recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing work environment.
  • BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or HRCI PHR highly desired.
  • Experience leading and developing HR teams and company-wide HR initiatives in fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, writing skills, and interpersonal skills. As well as teamwork, relationship building, and collaboration skills
