Financial Controller – Plastic Injection Molding

Reporting to the CFO, the financial controller will actively participate in strategic and tactical discussions involving the direction of the business.

About This Job

  • You will be responsible for the accurate and honest reporting of the financial performance of the organization.
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements, supporting analysis, and reports in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the budgeting process for all departments and operations.
  • Propose, coordinate, and evaluate necessary controls and ensure that they are being utilized to ensure the accountability of the company's assets.
  • Support the development and implementation of accounting policies to be compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience as plant controller or cost manager in a manufacturing environment, managing and developing staff, and an emphasis on cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership as part of a cross-functional plant management team with ability to manage and develop staff.
  • High level of proficiency in ERP systems – prior experience with company’s current IQMS ERP system would be preferred.
