Job Summary
Under the direction of the CEO, the Business Development Manager plans, directs and coordinates fast-track sales growth of new and existing accounts. This position is responsible for the company’s sales strategy, and for meeting or exceeding the annual growth targets identified in the company’s strategic plan.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
 Establishes sales goals to expand market share and enhance company profitability
 Develops marketing plans and programs in coordinate with company leadership to ensure profit growth and expansion of company products and services
 Explores new markets and develops strategies for successful entry into new markets
 Implements practical, timely solutions to remove obstacles to sales growth
 Motivates, trains and leads a team of marketing, cost estimating and sales personnel
 Establishes rapport quickly with potential customers and prospects
 Makes regular customer sales calls and tracks sales funnel progress in HubSpot
 Develops and remain accountable to department KPIs and sales process
 Consults and collaborates with Engineering Manager on estimating & quoting of the company’s products
 Negotiates with outside suppliers to obtain best pricing on raw materials
 Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering
 Previously completed coursework in sales/marketing, plastics, estimating, engineering, injection molding and/or finance and accounting
 6 to 8 years of experience including quoting, injection molding and/or industrial sales
