VP of Sales & Marketing – Plastic Injection Molding

Custom large-part injection molding, thermoforming, and reaction injection molding solutions.

Make an impact. Engage and motivate our Sales and Marketing team to expand our sales footprint, establish and build relationships, and be a positive team leader for a well-established manufacturer of plastic injection molded solutions.

The Opportunity:

  • Reporting to the President, responsible for growth of the business, leading and managing day-to-day sales activity, funnel activity, and customer-focused sales efforts.
  • Build, train, mentor, and coach the sales and marketing team to become best-in-class sales professionals.
  • Define product strategy and go-to-market roadmap, oversee and improve customer qualification process and close rate, and solve problems.
  • Partner with Engineering to develop new products and strengthen industry leader position.
  • Develop regular revenue forecasts, set pricing, and negotiate business relationships.
  • Lead marketing efforts for brand awareness, lead generation, tradeshows, advertising, and social media presence.

The Qualifications:

  • Ten plus years demonstrated and relevant skills and quantifiable results in the plastics industry.
  • Plastics industry and/or injection molding experience is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and teamwork.
  • Exceptional sales, presentation, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, relationship-building, organizational, and digital marketing skills.
  • Can-do attitude with the ability to lead and motivate a team with highly effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel within North America.
